Farm "La Esperanza"

House of Spiritual Retreat

House of Spiritual Retreat

Children harvesting sweet potatoes from the soil outdoors.

We are committed to cultivating the land using ecological methods that respect nature. With various crops we not only feed people, but we also create jobs to support  families.

Coexistence house to accommodate guests who want to have an experience of encounter with nature, totally ecological, where nature is seen as a means to protect and not as an end to destroy.

We transform a tree into thousands of rosaries! With this project we help small local artisans and promote religious practices and ethical and moral values.

Farm "La Esperanza"

Development project for a fruit, agricultural and small livestock farm.

General objective:

1. We developed a fruit farm to produce food and meat for human consumption.

Specific objectives:

1. Cultivate mangoes as the main line of trade on the farm.

2. Raise cattle to obtain meat and milk.

3. Establish an area for planting and harvesting tubers, grains, and vegetables.

All the soils of our lands are arable and have great potential for the optimal development of timber, fruit and vegetable plants. In addition, there is regular rainfall in the spring and summer seasons (around six to eight months), with rivers, reservoirs, and a favorable groundwater table to sustain the supply of water to people, crops, and animals.

The geographical situation of the farm to be strengthened with this project, has a great wealth and variety of arable soils, where you can harvest:

Fruits: mango, medlar, mamey, avocado, etc.

  Grains: corn, beans, chickpeas, etc.

Tubers and root vegetables: potatoes, sweet potatoes, cassava, malanga, yams, etc.

Vegetables and legumes: lettuce, cabbage, carrots, beets, beans, etc.

In addition, good pastures for cattle could be obtained, harvesting the grasses and fodder that guarantee animal feed for the dry season.

This project seeks capital that will make the proposed farm production increase, and, in a prudential time of two to five years, it will be at the maximum production point. Thus becoming a self-sustaining company that generates food and monetary capital, to support other protects and help locals. Without an investment at this point, the chances of success would be considerably limited, and the land would be impoverished as a result of weeds, so mango production (200 mango trees) would be greatly affected.
